Inspiration
The computer science field is predominantly male, discouraging other females from entering or staying in the field, so we developed this web application to help females feel less isolated and intimidated in the male-dominated technology industry.
Find a tech job is extremely stressful and LinkedIn looks so complicated and discouraging. Our app is simple to use and inspiring women to code and network.
What it does
Seeds is a full-stack web application that allows women in technology to meet other women who share their same passion with technology. Users can utilize the website to find female mentors, join a project with a team with females, showcase their projects, and go to events that other females are also going. Users can also add new projects and events, or become a mentor. We know that many females in technology, including us, experience imposter syndrome, so we created this application to help mitigate this feeling of self-doubt within a majority of us.
