• Inspiration Behind SecretBuddy

  1. Real-World Safety Fears — Especially for Girls & Young Women

Many girls in including teenagers, feel unsafe in public, on social media, and even in their own homes.

In many cases, women cannot openly install or use safety apps without facing suspicion, especially from controlling partners, family members, or abusers.

  1. Existing Safety Apps Aren’t Enough

Most apps (like Raksha, Safetipin, etc.) focus only on open SOS buttons or GPS tracking.

They don’t offer stealth, emotional support, or hidden tracking of abuse.

  1. Rising Digital Harassment

•SecretBuddy also tackles growing issues like:

Blackmail using private pictures

Threats from classmates/peers

Online grooming or harassment

As a girl myself, I’ve seen how common it is to feel unsafe — even in school or at home. But we don’t always have the power or permission to ask for help. SecretBuddy was born from the idea that sometimes, the best protection is silent, smart, and hidden.

Then show how SecretBuddy fills the gaps:

Disguised interface

Emotional + physical safety

Smart triggers and AI support

SecretBuddy is a real-time, discreet women’s safety companion app that combines emergency SOS alerts, location tracking, and silent communication. Unlike traditional safety apps, SecretBuddy focuses on covert user protection—allowing the victim to trigger alerts through subtle gestures like shaking the phone or pressing the volume button, without drawing attention.

Its unique advantage is the "Secret Chat with Trusted Buddy" system, where users can connect with a prechosen contact without leaving obvious traces, along with live location sharing and fake call features to defuse threats in real time.

SecretBuddy empowers users in unsafe situations by offering fast, intelligent support without needing to open the app or raise suspicion.
