Player 360 Scorecard Aggregator

Inspiration

The sport I play is cricket and I play for multiple clubs. Therefore I have multiple profiles which hold my statistics. I needed a more convenient way of having combined statistics from multiple profiles. This journey inspired me to build an RPA solution using UiPath to combine scorecards.

What it does

It aggregates values from multiple scoring platforms. In my case, it's a cricket scorecard.

How we built it

I used UiPath (an RPA tool). Ui path has the ability to screen scrape scorecards. I fetched my profiles using my player ID from 2 platforms and got the stats using screen scraping. I then combined the values and displayed the total value.

Challenges we ran into

Many technical difficulties were ultimately overcome by going through UiPath documentation. The UiPath only works on Windows software, so it was my first time on Windows. It was my first time on UiPath so I had to explore a lot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finding the solution to the problem, then presenting the problem. Another accomplishment was finding my way through UiPath because it was my first time.

What we learned

I learned how to navigate through UiPath. I also learned more about hackathons as this was my first one.

What's next for Scorecard Aggregator

I can hopefully expand my knowledge so it becomes an app for people rather than a prototype.
