Inspiration

We noticed that students had trouble finding events happening at their school, so that inspired us to create this project

What it does

Once the student enters their school, it shows all the different events that are happening there, from school dances to club meetings to sports games

How we built it

We used React JS for the front end, and Flask in Python for the back end

Challenges we ran into

Since this was our first time using a SQL database, we had troubles initially. There were also a lot of bugs that stopped us on the way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have successfully created a website that will help students to interact more passionately with their community

What we learned

We learned how to integrate the Frontend with the Backend and how to manage an SQL database in Flask Python

What's next for SchoolMaxxing

We will create a hierarchical system of upvotes and downvotes to give students the most relevant results for posts
