Inspiration
We wanted to make the scholarship search less overwhelming and more engaging, so we turned it into a space-themed adventure using AI, blockchain, and AR/VR.
What it does
ScholarVerse lets students explore scholarships as planets in a multiverse. AI mentors guide them, and gamified features like NFTs, team quests, and AR/VR make the process fun and interactive.
How we built it
We combined AI for personalized feedback, blockchain for NFTs, Three.js and Unity for 3D/VR visuals, and Firebase for real-time data. AR features were added using WebXR APIs.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating advanced technologies smoothly, optimizing performance across devices, and creating visually appealing scholarship realms were the biggest hurdles.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a fully functional prototype with AI mentorship, NFT achievements, and immersive AR/VR features that make the scholarship process engaging and fun.
What we learned
Balancing complex technologies with user-friendly design is key, and gamification really boosts user motivation and engagement.
What's next for ScholarVerse
We plan to expand the scholarship realms, improve the AI mentor models, enhance AR/VR features, and make ScholarVerse accessible to more students worldwide.
