Scarlet Sync began with a simple vision: to empower every Ohio State student to thrive, not just survive, in their academic journey. We realized that navigating classes, career planning, and campus life as a Buckeye often feels fragmented, splitting time between CarmenCanvas, club websites, LinkedIn, and event boards.

Scarlet Sync changes that. It's a unified platform that brings together academics, networking, well-being, and opportunity discovery into one polished hub.

With our Course Companion, we connect directly to Carmen, analyze syllabi and lecture materials, and create personalized, adaptive study plans.

The AI Planner helps you schedule your semester with coursework aligned to your professional goals, break down assignments, and balance coursework with your extracurriculars.

Through the Networking Hub, you can discover classmates, club members, and OSU alumni based on shared courses, orgs, or career aspirations. AI even helps you draft messages to connect.

The Opportunities Finder recommends research, internships, and courses aligned with your interests, and lets students rate and review their experiences so others can learn from real OSU peers.

Our Events module curates campus and Columbus-area professional events: hackathons, panels, recruiting sessions, and more.

For your personal balance, the Wellness feature nudges you gently toward healthy habits and helps you monitor your well-being.

And when you’re on campus, Navigation gives you a real-time interactive map: where to park, where to study, which buildings are busiest, and where food is available.

Finally, Study Spaces shows open rooms, library occupancy, and ideal spots based on your schedule and preferences.

Over time, Scarlet Sync becomes more than just a tool: it’s your academic co-pilot. It learns from your habits, helps you grow your network, recommends opportunities you didn’t even know existed, and gives you real, tangible feedback from other students.
