Inspiration

Wanting to create a non reactionary solution to sexual assault, and other unsafe situations on college campuses

What it does

Allows users to post locations on their campuses where unwanted interactions occur.

How we built it

We used nodeJS, mongodb, java android, google maps, and express.

Challenges we ran into

Android asynchronous process handling.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The amount of good that this application can potentially bring to college campuses. Also, the amount of interfacing across multiple different technologies while building a modular application that can be ported to multiple platforms

What we learned

We learned how to build modular applications using a wide variety of dev tools

What's next for Say Something

We hope to make this application scalable across a wide array of college campuses.
