Inspiration
Our inspiration was the over-consumption of fast fashion and the more sustainable iption if circular fashion. We were inspired to solve the teen dilemma of creating fire outfits and make them eco-friendly 😎
What it does
Our ChatBot takes an input from a user and spits out an outfit based on the users keywords.
How we built it
We built it using our own datasets and built them into hugging face. We then set keywords and true or false statements to make sure the bot understood what the user wanted. After the ChatBot was finished we coded a website using Java, HTML, and CSS and designed it to our liking and then embedded the Bot into our website.
Challenges we ran into
Of course nothing is perfect, challenges we faced involved the Pinterest embed links not being embeddable into our bot so we had to change them into eye frames that could embed. We also faced challenges getting the embedded ChatBot to stick while scrolling on the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re so proud of how far our ChatBot has come but so far we’re most proud of the ChatBot spitting out responses that we need for it to be successful. We love how the website turned out and are so proud of it.
What we learned
We learned how to embed things other than links, we learned more about sustainable brands, and we even learned how to develop a functional ChatBot in three days.
What's next for Savvy
More inclusive to genders and being able to make the Pinterest home have functional and be able to copy and paste the link given from the ChatBot into that Pinterest home page on the website.
