Inspiration

We understand the challenges of drivers, undocumented or low-income, solutions need to be practical for their lifestyle and need. We designed for ubiquity regardless off personal characteristics.

What it does

Analyses smart meter data to determine li+ battery compromise and notifies owners to proactively address. Integrates with city services (FDNY, etc)

How we built it

API data from Smart Meter --> BatteryML Analysis of current and voltage --> Notification system to battery owners

Challenges we ran into

Ingesting large volumes of data, complexities around structural location of battery charging relative to smart meter, multiple stakeholder and end-user needs

Novel approach to an existing infrastructure usage (smart meters)
