Inspiration

Being able to help my peers that's my age that don’t know how to budget, not only that but the upcoming adolescents that don't get taught this in school and also don't know how to budget their finances.

What it does

It's a "Budget Report". We gather the user's information from their monthly income and break it down into the 50%/30%/20% method: fixed income(necessities), flex income(wants), and savings. This is a great way to monitor and budget your money.

How we built it

We built using multiple languages like Python, Java, HTML, and C++. We executed the use of all these different languages in Visual Studio Code and for team coding we used Git

Challenges we ran into

The challenge we ran into was coming into this with a lack of experience, and not knowing where to start, but we overcame this challenge. Another challenge that we ran into was coding the math aspect if our project making sure we had the right numbers and equations that were required.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We overcame coming into this with the lack of experience, we were still able to create and execute the task that was assigned to us, we are all proud of accomplishing this.

What we learned

What we learned, is what goes into making a web app. How the backend of a website is used/created. We also learned about HTML how they are used and its importance in creating a web app. We also learned a little bit of other coding languages.

What's next for Room312

What's next for Room312 is we plan on fully developing our web app in the near future.
