Inspiration
We are motivated by UN Goal No. 6, Quality Education. As a result of Covid-19, education quality has declined dramatically, as face-to-face learning is no longer available. Aside from that, we conducted some research on how other organisations can assist in improving educational quality. They are more concerned with soft skills or a broad range of education, such as decision-making and critical thinking abilities. However, there are lack of organisations focusing on mental health education, particularly for teachers, so we believe that is a good direction to take.
What it does
How we built it
We initially created a UX/UI mock-up design using Figma before deciding to start the AI-mental health chat bot. Which we used Azure servers, javascript, html and css to built it.
Challenges we ran into
- Validating an idea was hard especially when it was done in a vacuum with no real users to turn beside research.
- Time management we had to juggle our time wisely because there was a vert finite of it in this 24 hours hackathon so we needed to use it effectively in all tasks.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Building an AI that uses multiple languages like javascript, html, CSS and Python.
What we learned
We learnt to work together even with strangers and trust in each other as a team to communicate and deliver a project.
What's next for Rising
we plan to develop Rising into an online platform for the wider community not only
Built With
- css
- figma
- github
- html
- javascript
- microsoft-azure-server
