Inspiration
We were inspired by the gap in resources available for homeless individuals. Beyond just shelter, people need access to jobs, medical help, and survival resources — but everything today is fragmented. We wanted to build a tool that brings it all together in one place with AI.
What it does
RiseUp AI creates personalized career roadmaps, helps users find nearby shelters and healthcare resources, and provides real-time updates about government programs through an Awareness Bulletin — all through a simple mobile-friendly dashboard.
How we built it
We used Flask for the backend, integrating with Gemini AI to generate custom career roadmaps.
We built a location-based resource finder for shelters and services.
The front-end was built to be clean, responsive, and easy to navigate on mobile.
Challenges we ran into

• Keeping the dashboard lightweight and user-friendly for people with limited access to devices.
