Inspiration: From our personal experience, it has always been difficult to find good real-life resumes online. Despite having ChatGPT or other GenerativeAI, we wanted to build something that was dedicated to delivering a near-perfect resume.

What it does: It is a resume generator that uses GenerativeAI to build resumes that stand out with the help of sample resume templates. It takes in the job description, skills, and experience and uses that information to build a personalized resume in no time.

How we built it: We used Flutter for the frontend to make the mobile app and used python for the backend. We utilized Ollama to learn and generate resumes and Pinata to store the training datasets.

Challenges we ran into: Connecting the frontend and backend along with the integration of the Ollama was time-consuming. Our teammate had to drop the project midway due to scheduling conflicts.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: Despite the long time it took, we are proud of being able to deliver a basic and simple version of this idea.

What we learned: We learned how to navigate Pinata and understand the purpose of API keys.

What's next for ResuMatch: The next steps for ResuMatch are to integrate the program within companies so employees can submit resumes through ResuMatch directly to employers. Options to use different templates according to industry standards. Developing a chatbot feature to help tweak the resume to make it better.
