Inspiration We realize that being able to work from home and at the office in a hybrid setting has allowed for a more holistic approach to workplace culture. Employees find that this model reduces stress centred around work since they have more time to themselves since they do not need to commute. It allows for better mental wellbeing of employees and thus a more sustainable and more productive team. We want there to be a way that employers can schedule their employees accordingly, but in a way that offsets commute of employees so that there is not so much traffic coming from one area. To both reduce commute time because of congestion, and also reduce emissions.

What it does The website allows a superior to add their employees mandatory days. For example maybe an employee is required to go to the office on Tuesdays and Fridays. Their "mandatory days" are added to an array for the employee.

How we built it Flow & Go was made with a combination of Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

Challenges we ran into We struggled the most with linking our back-end with our front-end due to our lack of experience with web development. The time restraint was also a huge factor that hindered our work, although we worked very diligently all the way up to the last minute.

Accomplishments that we're proud of As a team we all put in our upmost effort and committed fully to the project. We are proud of our design for the slideshow we created to present our product since we made all graphics and design ourselves. Our members who worked primarily on the site itself learned java script, html, and css in order to execute our vision.

What we learned We take away more skills in coding in different languages, and further developed skills in website building.

What's next for Flow & Go Idealy we would have an app to go along with our website that would make it more convinient and accessible for employees to see their schedule; we would also hope to integrate a Google maps API to plan a schedule that avoids traffic build up as much as possible.
