Inspiration

Our inspiration was our personal experiences with living on our own for the first time.

Assists the user by giving them map of the disasters in their area, so they can plan accordingly while living on their own

Started with a React-Native UI, then built the webScraper for the APIs, and then built the mongodb database with mongoose and javascript

Our original database didn't function, Scope was too big, merge conflicts

Learning new languages in the time of the Hackathon

Focus our scope more, cut down on tools that we used, use more familiar technologies/languages, preparation is key

Working on more than just the disaster relief help.

Worked on the front end using react native.

I worked on the Database using mongodb, mongoose and Javascript

I worked on the web scraper, worked on the logic. The program is currently able to go on websites and bring back information to a text file. I also helped with the ideation and the low fidelity wire framing.

Alex Yoseph
I worked on integrating multiple APIs using JavaScript, to get and report disasters, also point out locations based on the need of the user.
