What it does
Detects targets (people) and captures their vitals to asses threat levels using those vitals.
How we built it
ISO app using Swift, that sends data to a back end. This back end then calculates the risk and transmits this risk level with a live view of the camera and vitals to a front end dashboard for viewing.
Challenges we ran into
New to Swift and had issues trying to connect the app to backend that then transmits to the front end
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learned how to implement APIs and how to interconnect multiple parts of a software program to form a final product.
What we learned
How to live stream data, how to interconnect mobile and web applications and how to assign work loads evenly between 3 members to complete project in given 24 hours period.
What's next for ReinventingThreatDetection
Continue to build this application out and make readings more accurate while making the implementation more secure
