What it does
Transforms old laptops to our custom arch distribution to set up cloud storage on the harddrive.

Challenges we ran into
The most difficult part of the project was to set up the backup system to google. We had to use the Google Drive API to upload the files but we also need the python algorithms to weight which files will be prioritized. For this we need the information of time accessed, and we need to count how many times it has been clicked, for this we used the JSON module in python to read the information of a constantly updated JSON in the frontend.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are happy to have created our own linux arch distribution.
What we learned
We learned how to use various google APIs, manipulate JSONs in python, schedule programs to run on a delay to decrease load, create arch operating system, and how to execute a shell script file from the frontend to get locally stored data.
What's next for ReDrive
We want to create a more fluid setup. We will also improve the file upload system.
