Inspiration
Watching small name schools lose in basketball every year. When we watched Iowa exit on the 2nd round against Oregon.
Challenges
Web Scraping the data was the most challenging for us since we were lacking a lot of information to search for. Data cleaning for our high school basketball set was challenging since we did not have an abundant amount of values to scrape from. Writing an ML backend was quite challenging for us since we had to learn and apply our knowledge during the hackathon.
Accomplishments
Being able to use ML techniques to organize our data into productive visuals. Being able to web scrape the high school basketball data and organize it in a clean manner.
