Because we understood the significance of sustainable transportation in lowering carbon emissions and fostering a healthy environment, our team was motivated to work on Real-Time Smart Traffic Management using Arduino. In addition to helping the environment, we wanted to develop a solution that would speed up commutes for workers and encourage them to take public transportation. We gained a lot of knowledge about the capabilities of the Arduino Uno and how to utilize it to gather and analyze real-time data during our project. During the implementation phase, we encountered several difficulties, including problems connecting the hardware components and programming the system to gather and process data precisely. Despite these difficulties, we created the project from scratch utilizing the Arduino Uno as our primary data-gathering and processing instrument. We discovered how to expand the project for sustainable development and how to gather the required materials at a reasonable cost. Therefore, by improving traffic flow and reducing congestion, our Real-Time Smart Traffic Management system has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions, save energy, and improve sustainability. Also, it provides commuters with a time-saving advantage, improving the effectiveness and convenience of transit. We are pleased with our efforts and eager to continue investigating the applications of Arduino technology for sustainable growth.
