Inspiration
Charing under building 32 is very fun, until you have to climb back up.
What it does
This latches onto the railing on the side and using three motors, pulls you back to the top.
How we built it
We used a breadboard to prototype the electronics and 80/20 erector set to create the frame.
Challenges we ran into
Battery power and motor control were two problems we ran into.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Redundancies paid off in the creation process. We planned ahead this time!
What we learned
Metal is conductive.
What's next for Rail Snail
Smaller form factor, better batteries, more powerful motors.
