Inspiration

Many people struggle to find motivation and wisdom in their daily lives especially in careers(like aeronautical engineers) so I decided to make this app to keep them motivated all the time.

What it does

This app provides quotes from popular authors, philosophers, and leaders. Users can generate quotes as long as they like, they can also listen to the quotes as well.

How I built it

Built with HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript to keep things simple

Challenges I ran into

  • I actually planned to build an app that sends motivational quotes to the user every day at a particular time but I didn't have the resources and skills
  • I could not complete my custom api so some authors do not have a profile image

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I could build a project to keep people motivated and reduce the amount of depression.

What I learned

I learnt alot from this project especially the fact that this is my firat ever hackathon that I'm puplishing a project

What's next for Quotes App

In the future, I plan to add features like:

  • Sharing to social media sites
  • Selecting favourite quote
  • Adding personal quotes that will be approved
  • Receiving quotes every day automatically
