Gnomon

Inspiration

I was inspired by apps such as quizlet that allow for user generated learning content.

What it does

Gnomon allows users to create and share quiz-like "question sets."

How we built it

I used tailwind css, react, to build the frontend along with nextjs for ssr and firebase for authentication and storing data in firebase's firestore.

Challenges we ran into

I struggled to implement storing, reading, creating, and updating the firestore firebase.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the editing functionality of the app and the general user interface.

What's next for Gnomon

Gnomon can be used in local schools to help students and even possibly for hosting tests.
