Inspiration
We were inspired by TLDraw and frustration with math homework.
What it does
It gives you tools to place mathematical expressions and re-use them.
How we built it
Found a typst render for HTML and placed it in cells.
Challenges we ran into
We had difficulties with changing cell layout, enabling expression passing, re-sizing buttons as we zoomed in/out, and creating limited copy/paste and undo functions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing the project with limited JS experience, and making an app we would consider using for our homework.
What we learned
We learned more about JS and how functional typst renderer was, and how we could possibly use them for future projects. -NEVER NEST
What's next for QuickMaths
Fixing blurry text, improving copy/paste and export features, and generally making the app more polished. Also as said above, designing features without need for nesting
