Inspiration

Our competitive love for fantasy football and the impossibility of predicting injured player's performance. Fantasy managers have been puzzled for ages about whether or not to start players with a Questionable tag.

What it does

Website that gives a percentage prediction of the likelihood of a player playing on a week-by-week basis

How we built it

In python using scikit-learn, react, HTML, and pandas to work with data. Data was scraped from pro football reference

Challenges we ran into

Lack of experience, scraping enough data

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting a decent product despite our lack of experience: 3/4 of our team members are hacking for the first time

What we learned

More proficient with scikit-learn, HTML, react, python, pandas

What's next for QuestioNFL

Implementing a sentiment feature and retraining our model to predict based on coach sentiment during the week.
