Inspiration
Most education platforms are made for mass delivery, not personalization. Khan Academy is static. Duolingo is rigid. Meanwhile, we waste hours doomscrolling TikToks and Reels. Why fight that habit when we can use it to help students learn?
What it does
Questify turns doomscrolling into learning. Students swipe through short, fun, AI-powered educational quests matched to their interests and school goals. Every scroll means progress—and they earn QUEST Coins for it.
How we built it
- Frontend: HTML+CSS+JavaScript for working web/mobile version.
- Backend: (Python), Flask
How we used Google Gemini in Questify:
- Text Generation: Gemini generates explanations, summaries, and personalized quiz questions for each educational topic a user selects.
Image Generation: Use Gemini’s multimodal capabilities to generate relevant supporting images or visual aids to make each quest more engaging and visually informative. These visuals are paired with the generated script for a complete multimedia learning experience.
Why Gemini was essential: Without Gemini’s generative capabilities, creating personalized, high-quality educational content would require manual work or rigid templates. With Gemini, every scroll in Questify delivers AI-generated, personalized learning in seconds.
