Inspiration

The idea behind QRazy albums emerged from the lack of a simple and convenient method for collecting media from large groups of people. Recognizing the widespread popularity of WhatsApp, which has more than 8 billion users, QRazy albums aims to make media sharing extremely easy, even for those who may not be tech-savvy.

What it does

QRazy albums allows users to scan a QR code, send media via WhatsApp, and view the shared content from a centralized location. This intuitive process makes media sharing quick and accessible for users of all ages.

How we built it

We utilized the Twilio API to integrate with WhatsApp, facilitating seamless media sharing. To build the platform, we employed Velo APIs, including Wix Data, Router Pages, Dynamic Pages, and Media Manager to create a robust and user-friendly experience.

Challenges we ran into

I faced a few hurdles during the development process, including time constraints and an unexpected transition to the CSS alpha version by wix, which caused disruptions with our dynamic pages.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am incredibly proud of how easy-to-use QRazy albums is. A new user can upload images within just 15 seconds of scanning the QR code, making it an efficient and accessible platform for sharing media.

What we learned

Through the development of QRazy albums, I gained valuable experience in integrating APIs, overcoming challenges, and creating a user-friendly platform for a diverse audience.

What's next for QRazy albums

There are numerous features that could be added to enhance the functionality of QRazy albums, such as automatic scanning for inappropriate content.
