Inspiration
the prompts: “retrieve information from an excel file attached to an email and input the data into a google sheet” “Create a currency automation that checks foreign currency and notifies the user when preset thresholds are met”
What it does
Automate checking currency, for more info read the read me doc, in the git.
How we built it
UIPATH, with lots of tears, work and sleep deprivation. Or more realistically, we divided the entire project in three big modules and assigned every member a module to work on. Then we integrated all the modules together and worked on automating it.
Challenges we ran into
Learning UiPath and getting used the UiPath Studio's interface
Extracting the currency (Using APIs in UiPath)
Automating the robots:)
and lastly,
DEBUGGING!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact that Its all* automatic, we can imagine it being used by professionals and that we learnt a new skill!
What we learned
A lot, from learning the ins and outs of UiPath, managing a project between members and of-course a bit of video editing ;)
