How we built it and Challenges we ran into

Developed entirely in Python, a language our team was not initially familiar with, the process involved a series of trials and errors. The learning curve was both challenging and rewarding, especially given that this was our first foray into desktop application development. Python's dynamic nature introduced a new paradigm, and adapting to its fluid coding style became an integral part of our journey. As we faced unfamiliar syntax and navigated through the intricacies of the language, each hurdle became an opportunity to expand our skill set and deepen our understanding of Python's capabilities.

One of the most significant technical challenges we encountered was the implementation of a transparent overlay. This innovative feature, allowing our charming cat reminders to pop out even when the main window is minimized, pushed us to explore Python's capabilities and required us to experiment with different techniques.
