Purdue Counselor

Inspiration

Scheduling meeting with counselors can be a long process. Counselors have a tight schedule, and we not only aim to reduce their workload, but also the stress of students.

What it does

The program serves as a chat system that asks users questions, all aiming towards providing a final answer.

How we built it

We used Intellij and wrote our code in Java

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with some of the logic operations, and the sheer scale of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of of making a program that we believe can really help people here at Purdue.

What we learned

We learned a lot about organizing our code in order to more effectively work as a team.

What's next for Purdue Counselor

We aim to take this to the next level by creating a website with a friendly user interface.
