🎯 Inspiration

In fast-moving industries, information becomes outdated in days. Employees struggle to keep up with evolving technologies, market shifts, and competitor trends while balancing their daily workloads. Most corporate learning tools are static, generic, and disengaging—failing to translate information into real knowledge retention.

We built PulseLoop to solve this gap. The idea was simple but powerful: automate industry awareness through intelligent curation, AI summarization, and gamified learning. Instead of reading endless newsletters or irrelevant updates, employees get concise, role-aware insights, test their understanding instantly, and stay aligned with what matters most in their field.

PulseLoop is an enterprise SaaS platform that transforms how organizations train, inform, and upskill their workforce. It brings together AI, analytics, and gamification into one ecosystem:

  • 📰 AI Content Curation – Aggregates role-relevant articles and podcasts from trusted industry sources.
  • 🤖 DeepSeek-Powered Summarization – Converts dense content into concise, actionable summaries tailored to the user’s department or job role.
  • 🧪 Adaptive Quizzing Engine – Generates 5-question, concept-driven quizzes for each piece of content. If a user misses 3+ questions, the AI identifies weak concepts and regenerates targeted questions while pointing them back to specific paragraphs or timestamps.
  • 📊 Learning Dashboard – Tracks streaks, progress, and “Tech Score,” showing measurable skill growth across departments.
  • 🎮 Gamified Learning – Rewards engagement with streaks, badges, and leaderboards that promote healthy learning competition.
  • 🧭 Admin Dashboard – Gives leadership detailed analytics on learning patterns, participation rates, and ROI from training initiatives.
  • 💵 Performance Bonus Engine – Employees earn a micro-bonus based on their Tech Score.
    The bonus amount per Tech Score point is not fixed; each company selects its own payout rate.

Frontend:

  • Next.js + Tailwind CSS: Built a clean, responsive enterprise dashboard and landing page optimized for all devices.
  • TypeScript: Ensured scalable, type-safe development for large enterprise use cases.
  • Dynamic Routing & Caching: Optimized real-time content updates from the backend feed.

Backend:

  • FastAPI (Python) – Core logic for summarization, quiz generation, and scoring.
  • Azure AI Foundry (DeepSeek-V3.1) – Powers AI summarization, insight extraction, and quiz generation.
  • MongoDB Atlas – Stores users, quiz attempts, and engagement metrics.
  • Azure Blob Storage – Manages large data files like transcripts, summaries, and reports.
  • ElevenLabs API – Converts summaries into realistic audio for hands-free learning experiences.

Pipeline Integration:

  • Automated RSS feed ingestion via Azure Functions for article and podcast sources.
  • DeepSeek’s API used for real-time summarization and tag generation.
  • Smart retry logic for quizzes using concept clustering and role-specific retraining.
