Driven by the PROS initiative, PROSeco emerged to empower travelers with cost-effective solutions, leveraging technology to enhance accessibility and affordability in the world of flight booking.
What it does
PROSeco offers a seamless travel experience with its innovative AI chatbot, simplifying flight bookings and providing a comprehensive map of worldwide airports for effortless exploration.
How we built it
We harnessed the power of MongoDB, Node.js, React, Three.js, OpenAI, Leaflet, Maptiler, Amadeus, and Bootstrap to craft a feature-rich flight booking web app, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technologies for a user-friendly and efficient travel platform.
Challenges we ran into
Upon encountering a Git conflict that momentarily stalled our project, we adeptly navigated through it as a team, collaboratively resolving the issue by reverting back our changes, ensuring a smooth and synchronized development process.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As a cohesive team, we're proud of each member's pivotal contributions to crafting innovative features, overcoming challenges collectively, and displaying unwavering resilience throughout the hackathon. Our application stands as a testament to our combined efforts, boasting both visually appealing design elements and a highly functional chatbot that exceeds our initial expectations.
What we learned
As a team, we cultivated strong communication skills, honed our collaborative problem-solving abilities during Git conflicts, and embraced effective pre-planning strategies in project development. Our collective journey also emphasized the importance of reading documentation thoroughly, fostering a dynamic learning environment that propelled us to navigate challenges successfully.
What's next for PROSeco
In the future, our app could evolve by incorporating personalized user profiles, enhancing the chatbot's natural language processing capabilities, and integrating real-time flight data updates for a more dynamic and responsive user experience. Additionally, expanding our geographic coverage and partnering with additional travel services could position our app as an all-encompassing travel companion, offering users a comprehensive and seamless travel planning solution.
