Inspiration
We made this app to help and guide people who currently works out or wants to start working out.
What it does
The app will detect the workout form and it will give feedback based on how well it is done. When the app opens, the user can select workouts they like to be evaluated on and once it is done you can start working out and the camera to the right side of the app will count the reps and give feedback of the form.
How we built it
We mainly used Python on VSCode and also used PyGame for video. We also used Cohere API for AI assistance.
Challenges we ran into
Completion of the App and the functionality.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Dividing up the work evenly, supporting each other for any help, and completing the app.
What we learned
We should have made this a WebApp.
What's next for WeFit
Add more functionalities to this app such as more diverse workout options for the AI to detect and give feedback. We can also make this a WebApp and an iOS app so there are more options to use this app.
