To make CS more accessible, we created a groundbreaking LLM framework that used paradigm based task planning to assist students who verbally communicating to our AI which we gave a body.

Inspiration

Growing up in rural Alabama, David had little access to coding mentorship. Our team shared the the drive to make coding more accessible sparking the creation of Project Lyla, a personal tutor

What we do

Lyla is an AI computer science tutor built using agent swarms and retrieval augmentation generation. To make collaboration as easy as possible we gave Lyla a physical form. Users will have the option to verbally communicate with Lyla to help break down any technical problems they encounter without actually solving the problem for our users. Unlike many other LLMs, Lyla focuses on building user understanding of solutions by walking them through it step by step without giving a direct answer. Our MVP focuses on data structures and algorithms, and we plan to expand to encompass more technical domains.
