This project was inspired by the supply chain issues we experienced during the pandemic.

What it does

Product Tracker provides community driven product availability information.

How we built it

We built our app using React, Firebase, and Google Cloud. Our design methodology involved a focus on front end development.

Challenges we ran into

We initially tried to use an Azure SQL database but ran into firewall and port issues from our school's network. We then switched to using Firebase.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our integration of multiple APIs is something that we are proud of.

What we learned

We learned more about API use and front end development.

What's next for Product Tracker

We would like to finish the web app and create a mobile application that supports push notifications for product availability updates.
