Inspiration
As a SaaS owner, I want to keep an eye on competitors without wasting time. I want to know if they have new products or features, changed pricing, started hiring key positions, and if they are actively investing in ad campaigns.
What it does
User adds a list of competitors (name and URL) and the web app triggers 3 agents to check price & features (analyzing their pricing page), promotions (on Linkedin Ad Library), and hirings (analyzing their careers page).
How we built it
We used Gradient AI for the Agentic AI, Python for the backend, and TypeScript for the front end.
Challenges we ran into
Gradient AI doesn't allow to browse the internet, or at least we couldn't find a way to do it, so we had to build the knowledge base of the competitors. We also had issues with Gradient AI hallucinating with the information we were providing, getting issues with blockage CDNs (e.g. CloudFlare) and not really reading the information from the URLs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made the web app within 24 hours! First time hackathon!
What we learned
Lots of discrepancies of Gradient AI's models and ChatGPT's models.
