Privion

Inspiration

We were inspired by the lack of security in IoT systems.

What it does

It protects users by preventing their devices from listening to them.

How we built it

We used raw html to create the web app and a python CV library.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a problem where the sound that was made was too loud when canceling out the voice so people could hear it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The voice gets scrambled, and it is hard to tell what the person is saying, and the sound is quiet.

What we learned

We learned how to use CV and integrate sensors with virtualized hardware. We also learned how canceling out sound waves work.

What's next for Privion

Privion is working towards creating physical devices and making it compatible with many different devices. We also plan integrating kmk coding for full functionality.
