Inspiration

We were inspired by the presentations T-Mobile representatives gave on security. It made us realize there are a lot of people who want to learn more about their data and how it is being treated.

What it does

It is a cross-platform web app with information/summaries on privacy policies from major corporations.

How we built it

We built it using React Native, Node.js, and JavaScript

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges setting up our environment, there was a challenge of unfamiliarity with the tech stack, there were also a few hiccups with the framework we used, namely expo.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of being able to create simple/basic page screens for React Native using the basic components available from the framework.

What we learned

We learned the basics of React Native

What's next for Privacy Policy View

We will keep updating the project and eventually release a full-fledged application to the public. This will be a continuous project.
