Inspiration
As students and recent graduates, we know firsthand how difficult it is to retain knowledge, especially in fields like medical school, STEM, and corporate training where iterative learning is critical. Traditional learning is passive and ineffective—students forget 50% of lecture content within an hour without active engagement.
With the global EdTech market projected to grow by $170.8B (2025-2029) and the K-12 segment reaching $253.9B by 2033, it’s clear that digital and remote learning are the future. We saw a massive opportunity to bridge the engagement gap with AI-driven, interactive lectures.
What it does
Presentable AI transforms static slides into dynamic, AI-powered lectures with:
- Real-time speech synthesis – Upload slides, and AI delivers a professional-quality voice lecture.
- Interactive Q&A – Raise your hand, interrupt, and ask AI questions on the spot.
- Adaptive learning – AI personalizes responses based on student needs, improving retention.
- Scalability – Whether for K-12, med school, or corporate training, AI makes learning engaging, accessible, and self-paced.
How we built it
- Frontend: Next.js (deployed on Vercel) for a seamless, fast, and scalable web interface.
- Backend: ElevenLabs API to generate realistic, high-quality AI voice lectures in real time.
- Interactive Features: Implemented hand-raising and Q&A, allowing users to pause and interact with the AI during lectures.
