Wanting a convenient place to keep track of gift ideas for friends and family.
What it does
Present Pal is an android app that records the names of friends/family and allows you to assign gifts to each person for an event.
How we built it
We built it using java in Android Studio.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges while implementing the local storage feature. This allows a users to store their gift lists so that they always appear when opening the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of all the functionalities we implemented and the overall look of the app.
What we learned
We learned that working in Android Studio is a lot of work but also a fun challenge.
What's next for Present Pal
We would like to implement notifications which will warn a user when an event is coming up.
