Countless people everywhere want to help make PPE; they may have tools, materials, space or just free time. We help them find each other and form a complete team, make approved PPE & get it delivered.

Inspiration

Knowing so many people scared of going into work because there's no protection for them to wear - some of them are friends of mine working in places with confirmed cases of Covid-19. Also seeing that while there are some hopes for more provisions for NHS workers, other healthcare workers and key workers remain mostly unprotected, which is crazy. And fixable, if we can work together now.

What it does

Whether you have suitable materials, tools, a space to work in, of are offering your time and skills, there are so many people with 1 or 2 pieces of the puzzle, but just like here in this hackathon, they need to form a team with everything needed to produce high quality PPE. So we provide them with a user editable map to find and contact each other.

Not to spend too long filling out forms when there are avoidable deaths happening right now which we might be able to help with.

Find another 1 or 2 people to join our team, smash this out together, and get it in the press and circulating across social media and other channels within days.
