Inspiration

Our inspiration came from the vanguard challenge that was presented to us at the opening ceremony, we felt passionate about helping people who might not be as well informed about making beneficial financial decisions when it come to credit cards and we wanted to change that.

What it does

Our application uses a simple user quiz to assess their current financial standing in order to curate whether a new credit cards would be worth adding to their portfolio or not.

How we built it

We built our web application by using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. Our team had chosen Angular as a our framework to be able to leverage the premade components provided by angular to make the development process as efficient as possible.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest struggles were trying to plan out the project and see what direction we were wanting to take this challenge. We also faced some hardship in the implementation due to our team having a very rudimentary knowledge of web development.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We feel pretty proud with the effort we put into this prototype and how much of the work we tried to get down was more than any of us really expected before we started.

What we learned

We learned how to communicate together in high stress situation about what we needed to get done along with being able to implement a design and make into a reality. Along with learning many new things about the realm of web development.

What's next for Power Wallet

Our team would love to keep pursuing this project and continue to iterate on it by implementing new features along with adding greater functionality to be able to enhance our users experience in the future.
