🤔 Why PostWorthy?
As frequent developers ourselves, we empathized with the difficultly millions of marketeers face when trying to craft viral content to show off their creations. The truth is, the algorithm is hard to crack.
But what if you could see 1,000s of posts at a time, analyze what makes the successful ones work, and then create high converting content automatically?
With the power of AI agents, PostWorthy can complete this pipeline in minutes.
🛒 Is PostWorthy Market Viable?
We've done our research, and in just 12 hours managed to get 50+ people from 19 countries to test PostWorthy for their own marketing. How did we make such effective outreach?... well, we used PostWorthy!
After analyzing 1,100+ posts on Reddit and close to 100,000 interactions, we found 55% of posts get less than 8 comments. We also found that 72% of posts violated the principles our algorithm determined were essential to becoming viral. These are the people who need PostWorthy.

🖥️ How's That Possible?!
PostWorthy uses a modern web app to walk the user through the following pipeline:
Select subreddit (with future plans to expand to other platforms).
Scrape the subreddit's posts using Puppeteer.
Analyze post sentiment, key words, topics, and content insights using Google Gemini's long context and an agentic workflow.
Upload retrieval augmented generation (RAG) documents. These could be the company's marketing materials, business plan, etc.
Use Cerebras's lightning-fast AI inference to agentically create and refine posts until 10 strong candidates are found. These posts are created using the insights found in the subreddit analysis step.
Predict the reach, engagement, brand relevance, and overall score for each post and present them to the user.
We created PostWorthy's MVP with the tech stack:
- React
- Bun
- TypeScript
- Tailwind
- ShadCN
- Cerebras
- OpenRouter
- Google Gemini
- Puppeteer
🫠 What's Difficult About This?
- Configuring the agentic workflow was a delicate task that required hours of fine tuning and testing.
- Web scraping large amounts of data is almost inherently difficult.
- It was important to us that we validated our idea, but making engaging brand content in 36 hours is almost unheard of.
- While there was a lot of data available when it came to identifying product market fit, most of it was low quality. We ended up analyzing 1,100 posts ourselves and drawing our own conclusions.
🚀 Accomplishments That We're Proud of
We've looked, and we can't find a better viral post generated out there. Most rely on having a better language model to please Reddit's algorithm, but we went straight to the source to find what the algorithm actually reacts to.
We're also proud of business plan we created. We used our team's past startup experience to access resources from the DMZ, The Artful Science of Pitching and Queen's Innovation Center. We've managed to create something that is not only useful day to day, but potentially profitable, in just 36 hours.
