Inspiration

In the fast-paced digital age, achieving a balance between work productivity and personal well-being is a universal challenge. This inspired us to create Pomodoo, a chrome extension pet that combines productivity and self-care through engaging quests.

What it does

Pomodoo is a cute and chaotic chrome extension pet designed to remind users to take breaks and prioritize self-care. It offers a mix of physical and virtual elements, providing an All-in-One Solution for consolidating productivity and health goals.

How we built it

We built Pomodoo with a focus on customization and flexibility. Users can tailor the extension to their unique preferences and needs. The development process involved incorporating magical elements to make the experience delightful and engaging.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of Pomodoo, we encountered several challenges. These ranged from technical issues to design considerations. Overcoming these challenges required creative problem-solving and collaboration within the team.

  • This was Darren's first hackathon and it was great to see him adapt and work alongside us debugging and adding features
