Inspiration
We were inspired to explore the security of the disaster pod due to the unfortunate, but real threat of human behavior in times of desperation.
What it does
Although our project is primarily conceptual in nature, we have implemented a functioning demonstration on the security system's visual recognition functions as well as implementing its RFID technology.
How we built it
We used an Arduino's RFID hardware to demonstrate the RFID functionality by recognizing an authorized user and an asset tag to log check out and check in times of an asset and python to use the visual recognition functionality.
Challenges we ran into
Some of the python libraries were difficult to download for the visual demonstration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The list of security concerns and considerations developed was very comprehensive.

How visual recognition works as well as basics on RFID hardware for Arduino.
What's next for PODSEC
Expand on the other security functions and consolidate all functions into a central system.
