Dear Reader,
Thank You For checking out Pocketbook! This project was inspired by an application I use called Notepad. The application was useful, but it lacked something. It was old and boring. That's why I decided to make Pocketbook! Pocketbooks legacy includes cross-platform usage, user-friendly UI, Cloud saves, File cleaning, and many more, such as widgets, Multiple user note-taking, Plagiarism checkers, and a whole lot more! But the road to success is not easy. I came across a plethora of problems when developing this software, causing me to scrap my first basic version because of a bug that would not let me store a lot of info at once. But using The Python dictionary Method, I was able to overcome this. I built this using Jupyter notebook, and have posted a Github page with the full code. If I had a chance to further develop this project, I would start by learning a whole lot more about coding and UI for about a year, then revamp all the basic visuals to a more appealing, modern-looking state. I would also start work on a proper save system since mine only saves while the program is running. also having more features would be essential to success. So, If you are interested, please help me accomplish my goals by voting for me as a winner, or a finalist. Every vote counts and I will be grateful for your dedication to my cause and fueling the fire for what's to come.
Thanks For Reading!
