Finding the right restaurant is often time-consuming with too many choices and limited filters on existing platforms.

Provides users with a streamlined way to discover dining options based location, cuisine type, and dining style.

How we built it

We built it using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Challenges we ran into

Our whole team was new to programming a website. Also we ran into the challenge of setting up a login system with Firebase.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made the UI very interactive and good-looking.

What we learned

We learned how to use beginner-intermediate level CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

What's next for Plates

Filters: Allowing for users to refine their restaurant search by distance, type of cuisine, and dining style. Like Page: Users will be able to like restaurants they like, and the website will save the likes to a new page.
