Inspiration

Have bad attention spans? Love traveling? Paranoid of dying? Then PlanGO is for you!

(We said yes to all the above questions so we made this as a solution.)

What it does will do

PlanGO creates a travel itinerary in a way that is fun, safe, and easy -- basically GenZ-ifying the travel planning process! Firstly, we ask for basic info on what they are interested in and their overall preferences for the trip. We gather interest from the user using a Tiktok/Reels layout (with a recommendation algorithm to personalize the customization process) and showing interest like Tinder. Once we find the users' interest, we generate an itinerary with the locations, estimated time spent, and recommendations of each attraction. The user will be able to add specific attractions they would want to visit, and it will rearrange accordingly. We keep in mind the user's satisfaction and wallet and optimize routes to save money on transportation. We also will display warnings from natural disasters or other dangerous threats (violence, weather, animal, disease, etc) such as earthquakes or hurricanes that would usually occur around that time and warn the user of it. The user will be able to see a map of the plans for each day as well as the budget. Lastly, if they would want to convince their friends or family or just make themselves excited for their trip, they will be able to generate an (AI-generated) preview video -- like a trailer of their trip and attractions.

some members had an unexpectedly long errand, some members wifi was down the entire time, some need sleep, DEPENDENCY ERRORS (--force <3), MERGE CONFLICTS, my love hate relationship for react
