PitchPro

Inspiration After working in the Fundingspace, having assisted over 400 companies raise over $200M in early-stage capital I've experienced first hand that only 16% of startups are pleased with their pitch deck materials motivates us to address this gap. We were inspired by the power of a compelling narrative to engage investors and knew there had to be a better way to create that narrative than the existing, time-consuming manual processes.

What it does PitchPro revolutionizes pitch deck creation by using advanced GPT-4 AI to transform a company's raw data into a powerful and persuasive story. It streamlines the process, offering templates for quick creation and delivering a refined, compelling first draft.

How we built it We built PitchPro by integrating the GPT-4 AI API into an intuitive interface that lets users input company details. Our tool uses this data to generate the basic elements of a pitch deck, which is then further refined by our team of experts.

Challenges we ran into Understanding the nuances of effective pitch decks across a broad range of industries presented challenges. We also grappled with how best to utilize AI to generate narrative content without losing the unique essence of each startup.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud of having a demo ready + having a pilot project with Nathan Beckord (CEO) @ Foundersuite. We take great pride in the milestones we've accomplished. Notably, we've developed a functional demo, a significant stride towards showcasing our capabilities. Further enhancing our pride is a pilot project we're undertaking with Nathan Beckord, CEO at Foundersuite. Another feather in our cap is our collaboration with Adam Metz from DFA Capital. He has generously shared his template, giving us insights into what he seeks in pitch decks that reach his VC. This collaboration is invaluable in helping us create more relevant and easily digestible pitches. All of these accomplishments, which were confirmed in our discussions last night, give us a strong sense of achievement. Our solution will help its first customer already next week!

What we learned We've learned that AI, when properly trained and combined with deep domain expertise, can significantly enhance creative and strategic processes like pitch deck creation. This blend of technology and human insight can provide substantial value.

What's next for PitchPro We plan to refine PitchPro's AI capabilities, further personalizing the narratives it generates. We also aim to expand our network of startups, providing more templates and greater community support for emerging businesses.
