Inspiration

SIUE does a lot of the pitcher stats by hand and it could totally be optimized with a program so no more paper.

What it does

It allows the stat trackers to put in stats and, as a stretch goal, allow viewers to see the updated stats in real time.

How we built it

We are using laravel for a database backend and are using vue for the front end design.

Challenges we ran into

Designing how the database links together, what stats needed to be in what table, and the overall UI design choices.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Got the database in one night and we are making progress learning new languages.

What we learned

New languages, how to set them up on different OS, and the process of us just deciding on UI.

What's next for Pitcher's Box

Hopefully to make it not just an app for just pitchers but to track entire team stats so the viewers can have updated stats at their fingertips at all times.
