Inspiration

We have elderly and other forgetful family members who would benefit from an app such as this one. We want to facilitate their everyday life.

What it does

An app compatible with Android, IOS, Mac, and Windows that reminds the user to take and refill their prescriptions through a series of customizable alerts.

How I built it

The team worked together through repl.it and used kivy as the python framework.

What I learned

The team learned how to download and use Kivy to create a mobile app. We encountered some challenged with downloading kivy and working with a database within Kivy. However, we learned how to use a python framework to develop our app ideas.

What's next for PillBug

We want to continue to developing the app to be more user-friendly and expand on the alarm feature.
